Abstract:
An edge box optimization method and apparatus, a storage medium, and an electronic device. The method comprises: receiving current load data reported by a current edge box; calculating, according to the number of currently running videos and the CPU occupancy rate, the current load rate of the current edge box, and determining whether the current load rate is greater than another load rate of another edge box corresponding to the current edge box; when it is determined that the current load rate is greater than the other load rate and a new video stream to be processed appears in the current edge box, allocating a new binding relationship to the camera that is generating said new video stream; and binding the camera that is generating said new video stream to the other edge box on the basis of the new binding relationship, so as to optimize the current edge box and the other edge box.
