Abstract:
The present invention relates to a display device for displaying an image, and to an edge light-emitting type display device capable of increasing the frequency of use by using light effects, and a game device having same. An edge light-emitting type display device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a display panel for displaying an image; a light source for emitting light from the perimeter of the display panel; a back cover having an open front in which the display panel is accommodated; a finishing panel arranged at the front of the display panel so as to protect the display panel; and a light transfer member which is provided along an opened edge of the back cover so as to seal the gap between the back cover and the finishing panel, and which receives the light emitted by the light source and emits same. Therefore, the frequency of use can be increased by focusing a light ray.
