Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce the amount of data to be stored. [Solution] An edge server wirelessly connects to a terminal device located in a coverage area thereof, relays communication between the terminal device and a server, and stores edge data which is data from each terminal device and constitutes a portion or all of data in the server. The edge server has: an acquisition unit for acquiring from the terminal device terminal information including the position and moving speed of the terminal device; a storage unit for storing the acquired terminal information; and a data management unit which, at a first time point at which the terminal device is located in the coverage area of the edge server, estimates the position of the terminal device at a second time point subsequent to the first time point on the basis of at least first terminal information of the terminal device acquired at the first time point, and which copies the stored edge data of the terminal device to another edge server which includes the estimated position of the terminal device at the second time point in the coverage area thereof.
