Abstract:
This editing support program causes a computer to perform the following processes. Information indicating a speaker who was identified with regard to a sentence, which was generated on the basis of voice recognition, is displayed on a display unit in association with a section within said sentence, said section corresponding to the identified speaker. If a first editing process to edit the speaker identification result occurs, and the respective speakers of two or more adjacent sections are the same due to said first editing process, then the adjacent two or more sections are displayed in a merged manner on the display unit. If a start point is designated for a section on which a second editing process to edit the speaker identification result will be performed, said section being a specific section within the merged two or more sections, and a location corresponding to the pre-merging start point of any of the two or more sections is present within the interval from the designated start point to the end point of the merged two or more sections, then the second editing process is applied to a section from the designated start point to the location corresponding to the pre-merging start point of one of the two or more sections.
