CLAIMS

1- The present invention is educational and instructive plug-in wood pieces characterised by an inserting piece (short type) (1); a single direction-changing piece (2) ; a double direction-changing piece (3); a single channel inserting and coupling piece (4); a double channel inserting and coupling piece (5); a main inserting piece (long type) (6); a fastening piece with circular cross-section (7) ; a main coupling and fastening piece (8); a channel fastening piece (9); a piece with channel and circular cross-section (short type) (10); a piece with channel and circular cross-section (long type) (11); a multidirectional main piece with circular cross-section (12); a multidirectional piece in triangle form(13); a multi-directional piece with vertical channel (14) and a multi-directional piece with horizontal channel(15).

Referring to Claim 1. the present invention comprises an inserting piece (short type) ( 1); a single direction-changing piece(2); a double direction-changing piece(3); a single channel inserting and coupling piece(4); a double channel inserting and coupling piece (5); a main insering piece (long type) (6) ; a fastening piece with circular cross- section(7); a main coupling and fastening piece (8); a channel fastening piece (9); a piece with channel and circular cross-section (short type)(10); a piece with channel and circular cross-section (long type)(l l); a multi-directional main piece with circular cross- section( 12); a multi-directional piece in triangle form (13); a multi- directional piece with vertical channel ( 14); a multi-directional piece with horizontal channel (15) wherein said pieces, in accordance with their shape and structure, chareterized by an axle hole (16) suitable for pieces with elliptical inlet; ab inserting channel (17) enabling the pieces to mate into one another; a piecerotating hole (18) enabling the intermingled pieces to rotate; rotating pass ( 19) enabling the rotating parts to rotate; locking section (20) located at the end point of rotating pass. 3- Referring to claim 1. the present invention comprises an inserting piece (short type) (1); a single direction-changing piece (2); a double direction-changing piece (3) ; a single channel inserting and coupling piece (4); a double channel inserting and coupling piece (5); a main insering piece (long type) (6); a fastening piece with circular cross-section (7); a main coupling and fastening piece (8); a channel fastening piece (9); a piece with channel and circular cross- section (short type) (10); a piecewith channel and circular cross- section (long type) (11) ; a multi-directional main piece with circular cross-section (12) ; a multi-directional piece in triangle form (13); a multi-directional piece with vertical channel (14); a multi-directional piece with horizontal channel (15) wherein said pieces are fabricated from wood.

EDUCATIONAL AND INSTRUCTIVE PLUG-IN WOOD PIECES

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

The present invention concerns pieces of wooden playing tools made of wood with which a number of toys can be constructed that can easily be locked, inserted and assambled together and fixed. The concept is largely based on the stimulation of creative and imaginative power.. DESCRIPTION OF PRIOR ART

Toys are all kind of objects that are typically used by children while playing. Although most of the toys are reproduction of a reality, they can also be simple objects upon which a particular meaning is attributed. For example a child can transmute in his mind a simple stick into a horse or a stone into a car. Besides, there are many complicated toys conisisting of electronical or mechanical pieces. The history of toys is as ancient as the history of humankind. Human beings , like the animals, have porbably used many natural objects as toys. Neverthless, the very first objects considered to be toys are balls, kites and yoyos. Archeological digs have proved that objects in the form of human beings and animals remain from Sumerians dating back as early as 2600 BC. In India animal figures HAVING wheels have been found from 2500 BC. The most ancient historical record referring to concept of toys is an ancient Greek document from 500 BC, talking about wooden and terracotta yoyos. However, yoyos had long before appeared in China and it is a known fact that back in 1000 BC in China there were some sorts of kites which are still popular as of today. In BC 2 marbles and teetotums were already known in Egypt. Dolls have been found in tombs of Pharaoh belonging to the same era. It is also known that, in ancient Greek, Rome and China dolls with moving arms and legs made of baked clay were fabricated. The first wooden dolls manufactured in mass are of Germany in 1700's. It is known that in Ottoman period, baloons made of animal intestine, wooden teetotums, circles, tamburines and clay toots were sold in Eyup, a historical quartier of Istanbul. A child, starting from the babyhood, comprehends and enjoys the exterior world by playing with toys. He/she finds or creates his own toys according to his imaginative world. Uniform tools are for everyone. As the child grow up by imitating the adults, he/she enjoys playing with the their tools. A simple object can serve as a toy. The wood has always been one of the leading materials that have been used in manufacturing toys. The wood being an easily workable material, has been a preferred material in toy industry. The toys which initially were solely a means of amusement are recently being used for educational purposes and the mental devopment of children. Nowadays there are many types of toys that are being manufactured for the purpose of physchomotor improvement of children, as well as improving their mental and imaginary power. Child of any age and sex should grow up with toys. However, the choice of proper toy both in terms of its function and material is of vital importance. As such it is true that there are many familes who are under the delusion of having chosed proper type but in fact made improper choice. Electronical, plastic and war toys can be shown as example for this. These kinds of toys, as they orient the child to play only by his own, cause problems such as imprisoning him into a confined area and avoiding him socialize. Moreover, uniform toys which the child is not able assemble-disassemble will obviously impact his/her creativity in negative manner and has nothing to contribute to his creativity.

THE DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

It is used by children while playing. It allows to build-up various structures and forms with the aid of wooden pieces having the capability of mating into each other and than getting them fixed by means of specially designed inserting holes. An educational and instructive tool, a play of constituting various forms by assembling various pieces and a toy from which to obtain different forms by putting together wooden pieces, it helps improve the creativity of children. The present invention is made of wood which is a natural and sanatory material. Tools of wooden materias do have a very positive impact on children and they are also skill and mind developing objects. Simple as well as compelling the child's mind and skills, they are important and effective toys. They appeal to the imaginative world of the children. The children can invent various plays by inserting the pieces optionally according to their imaginative world. Assembling and disassembling the wooden pieces help children control their muscels which in turnscontribute their development in repect of sense-movement faculities. Constructing various forms and objects and reconstructing them activate the imaginative power of the child as well as sense of coprehension. This toy, based on the principle of assembling and disassembling wooden materials develops skill, mind and imaginative power. The present product is of wooden material having specially designed insertion and connection points and special installation technicques. A similar product made of wood with similar assebling techniques does not exisit. The only products based on the similar insertion principle for the same purpose are plastic legos which, as plastic toys, obviously have negative impacts on the overall health and development of children. The present invention is a product that has specially built-in insertion points allowing the pieces to mate into each other When one part is mated into another, it is possible to slightly rotate it in the specially desiged circular housing thus making it possible to firmly fasten up the product by pushing and inserting the pieces through the channels with the help of the tight-fit design . Special clamps allows different pieces to lock to one other. As the product comrises pieces of varying geometrical forms, assembling pieces can easily change position thus allowing the child to realize what he/she imagines. The fact that the invention is made of wood that is, of natural material is of great importance in respect to the child's development. Various forms can match one another in a very agreeable manner. There are as many assembling parts as necessary to allow the realization of layout in detail and this helps improve creativity and designing skill of children. The pieces come together and turn into the objects that are found in the imagination of children, and as this is a on-going creation process new designs emerge . Children express what they have created in their minds. They show around the toys that they design and explain how they imagine they function. And this obviously means socialisation. The product also helps them to learn how to focus on specific activities. Although being designed as a toy with small pieces, it can also be considered on larger scales and appealing to adults for relaxation purpose. The invention is fabricated by using wooden material but it is also possible to manufacture it out of plastic, metal or polyurethane.

THE DETAILED EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention comprises main inserting piece (short type) that can horizantally and vertically extend and attach as well as building up multi-functional forms (1) ; single directionchanging piece functioning as coupling and direction changing from vertical position to horizantal or vice versa (2) ; double direction-changing piece functioning as coupling and direction changing from vertical position to horizantal or vice versa (3); single channel inserting and coupling piece fonctioning as channel conection and direction changing (4) ; double channel inserting and coupling piece that accomplishes dual connection , moving one-way forward (5) ; main insering piece (long type) functioning as combining channels and direction changing that, acting as an axle transmits three- way movement, also extending and attaching verically and horizontally and building up multi-functional forms (6); fastening piece with circular cross-section that enables the pieces with circular cross-section to fasten to other pieces (7); main coupling and fastening piece that couples and fastens the pieces one another vertically and horizontally (8); channel fastening piece that enables the pieces with channel to fasten to other pieces (9) ; piece with channel and circular cross-section (short type) functioning as axle by traversing through circular channels(lO); piece with channel and circular cross-section (long type) functioning as axle by traversing through circular channels ( 11) ; this allows for more advanced designing possibilities; multi-directional main piece with circular cross-section functionig as a roller to disribute the movement by 60 degrees (12); multi-directional piece in triangle form distributing the movement by 120 degrees (13); multi-directional piece with vertical channel that transmits the connection from pieces with circular cross-section to the others in upright direction (14); multi- directional piece with horizontal channel that transmits the connection from pieces with circular cross-section to the others in parallel direction(15). All and each piece of the present invention, for the purpose of coupling an fastening the pieces, comprises an axle hole (16); an inserting channel (17); a piece rotating hole (18); a rotating pass(19); and a locking section(20). One piece is inserted to another through the locking section (20) and inserting channel (17). The piece is inserted and pushed through until the rotating hole ( 18) and when reached to rotating hole (18) rotated by 90 degrees and then at such position driven to right or left, thus fixing (locking) has been completed. Coupling and assembling operation so concluded, the assembling process continues with the next step.
