Abstract:
An effort-saving tightening mechanism for an electronic temperature sensing rod, to be used in tandem with a corresponding power source cover (6), comprising at least a pushrod clamping mechanism (1) being pivotably connected to a housing (2). The pushrod clamping mechanism (1) comprises: a pressure rod (11) that is able to move between a position clamped on the power source cover (6) and a position disengaged from the power source cover (6); a clamping elastomer connected to the pushrod clamping mechanism (1); a pushrod (12) that is able to push up the power source cover (6) when the pressure rod is at the disengaged position and that is fixedly connected to the pressure rod (11). When in use, this effort-saving holding mechanism can tightly clamp the electronic temperature rod onto the power source cover (6). When removal of the temperature sending rod is needed, only a slight force from one hand on the pressure rod (11) enables the push rod (12) to push open the power source cover (6), thereby easily separating the electronic temperature sensing rod from the power source cover (6).
