Abstract:
This EGR valve comprises: a valve seat and a valve body provided to a flow path (2) of a housing (3); a valve shaft (6) that moves the valve body relative to the valve seat; a step motor that drives the valve shaft (6) together with the valve body; a bearing (8) that drivably supports the valve shaft (6) in the housing (3); a seal member (9) that has a lip part (17) adjacent to the bearing (8) and in contact with the valve shaft (6), and that seals the space between the housing (3) and the valve shaft (6); an assembly hole (3a) that holds the seal member (9) to the housing (3); and a deposit guard member (10) that is adjacent to the seal member (9) in the assembly hole (3a), and that prevents deposits from the flow path (2) from entering into the assembly hole (3a). An end (9b) of the seal member (9) is provided with a seal protrusion (40) that protrudes toward one end (10a) of the deposit guard member (10), and that comes into contact with the one end (10a) while deforming to seal the space between the seal member (9) and the deposit guard member (10).
