An ejector mechanism for cards (9) suitable for a card connector of IC cards or PC cards, in which the cards (9) can be inserted or removed easily and surely through a simple arrangement while reducing the size, weight and cost of the mechanism and electrical and mechanical connection of the cards (9) are assisted to provide reliable and stabilized use conditions by providing guides (3, 4, 5) with a card holder (14) movably, urging the cards (9) movably, providing the card holder (14) with first and second engaging claws (16, 17), directing the forward end part of the first and second engaging claws (16, 17) in the inserting direction of the cards (9), arranging the forward end part of the first and second engaging claws (16, 17) while spacing apart in the thickness direction of the cards, and enabling a member (12) engaging with the first and second engaging claws (16, 17) to move concurrently with displacement of the cards.
