Abstract:
This EL device (1) comprises a display panel (2) and an imaging element (3). The display panel (2) has a panel substrate (4) and an EL layer (5). An imaging hole (6) for guiding light from a subject to the imaging element (3) is formed in a display area (8) in such a manner as to span across a plurality of scanning signal lines (10) and a plurality of data signal lines (11), as observed from a perpendicular direction to the display surface.
