Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an elastic crawler core metal having high durability against a twisting force applied to the core metal during use, and an elastic crawler using the core metal. [Solution] An elastic crawler core metal 30 is provided with: a long core metal base body 31; a pair of projections 32L, 32R that project at the center of the core metal base body 31 in a longitudinal direction; and a pair of rails 34L, 34R that have a track roller support surface 35 for supporting a track roller 56 rolling on the inner peripheral surface of an elastic crawler 10 and that project from the core metal base body 31 on both outer sides of the projections 32L, 32R, wherein a top surface 37 formed so as to project from the core metal base body 31 and to be continuous from the track roller support surface 35 is provided with a pair of rail extensions 36L, 36R that extend from the rails 34L, 34R toward the center side of the core metal base body 31 in the longitudinal direction.
