Abstract:
The present invention provides an elastic hot melt composition that exhibits an excellent extensibility and an excellent stretch recovery after extension, a moderate stress during extension, and an excellent heat stability and that can be coated using normally used hot melt adhesive coating equipment. The present invention provides an elastic hot melt composition comprising a thermoplastic elastomer (A) and a plasticizer (B), the elastic hot melt composition being characterized in that the thermoplastic elastomer (A) comprises a hydrogenate of a styrenic block copolymer and the elastic hot melt composition comprises 45 to 75 mass% of the thermoplastic elastomer (A) and 5 to 40 mass% of the plasticizer (B) in 100 mass% of the elastic hot melt composition and has a melt viscosity at 180°C of not more than 40,000 mPa∙s.
