Abstract:
Provided is an elastic seal member and connector that make it possible to suppress a decrease in sealing properties while suppressing resistance to insertion into an electric wire insertion hole. The elastic seal member (12) is provided with: an arrangement of a plurality of seal insertion holes (121)(electric wire insertion holes) through which terminal-equipped electric wires are inserted in a thickness direction (D1); and thinning grooves (122) adjacent to the seal insertion holes (121)(electric wire insertion holes) in at least one of front and rear surfaces, and is characterized in that the thinning grooves (122), in a plan view of the one surface, are formed in a shape that does not overlap circular areas (121b) which are circular areas centered about the seal insertion holes (121)(electric wire insertion holes), and in which circular areas (121b) around adjacent seal insertion holes (121)(electric wire insertion holes) with the thinning groove (122) interposed therebetween are not superposed on each other.
