Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for homogenously implementing elasticity of an original sheet having a concave portion, such as an embossed portion and the like. The elastic sheet manufacturing method involves preparing a pair of gear rollers that rotate around a rotating shaft while mutually meshing a plurality of teeth (41t, 43t) disposed on an outer circumference portion, and stretches the original sheet with the teeth, using the gear rollers rotating directions or a direction parallel to the rotating shaft as a stretching direction, by passing the original sheet (3) containing a plurality of fiber types, between the pair of gear rollers. The original sheet has a plurality of press-formed concave portions (11) formed at predetermined pitches in the stretching direction on the same straight line along at least the stretching direction. A disposing pitch in the stretching direction of the teeth for each gear roller of the pair of gear rollers is larger than one times the forming pitch, and less than two times the forming pitch.
