Abstract:
Elastic siphon connection for washing-stands, single and double dish-washers. In its basic version the connection includes an inlet grid (1) with a sealing ring (2), inlet (3) and a bolt (4) assembled in the plug hole of washing-stand or single dish-washer, and includes an ended sleeve (7) the parts are assembled by using plastic pipe (6) pulled on the smooth ends of the pipe (7a), and the inlet (3) on which pipe (6) is held by joint nuts (5) with spiral grooves (5c) mating with spiral convexities (6b) on the outside of the plastic pipe (6).

Patent claims
1. Elastic siphon connection for washingstands, single and double dishwashers, which includes in basic variant: standard grid 1 with sealing ring 2, inlet 3 and bolt 4 for their assembling in the hole of washingstand or single dishwasher, and includes one sleeve 7 on it's end, MARKED SO, that includes plastic pipe 6 pulled on smooth end pipe 3a of inlet, just as smooth end pipe 7a of sleeve. Plastic pipe 6 is made by spiral coiling of plastic profiled strip, with inside smooth walls 6a, and with outer spiral convexities 6b with pitch"h"and smooth surface 6b between. At the ends of pipe 6, joint nuts 5 with outer ribs 5a and with inside hole 5b which is ended by outlet 5d, are positioned. In the hole 5d, spiral groove 5c with spiral pitch"hi"and radius R, is formed. Peaks of the groove 5c are placed on inner diameter D.
2. Elastic siphon connection, in accordance to claim, MARKED SO, that cross section of outer spiral convexities 6b of the pipe 6, is made like round, triangle or polygonal.
3. Elastic siphon connection, in accordance to claims 1 to 2, MARKED SO, that pitch"h"of spiral convexities 6b, is different than spiral groove pitch"hi"in inner hole 5b of joint nuts 5.
4. Elastic siphon connection, in accordance to claims 1 to 3, MARKED SO, that pitch"h"of spiral convexities 6b of the pipe 6, is bigger 1% to 4% than spiral groove 5c pitch"hi"in inner hole 5b of joint nuts 5.
5. Elastic siphon connection, in accordance to claims 1 to 4, MARKED SO, that inner diameter of the hole 5b of joint nut 5 is bigger 1% to 2% than smooth surface 6c diameter of plastic pipe 6.
6. Elastic siphon connection for washingstands, single and double dishwashers, in accordance to claims 1 to 5 in variant I, MARKED SO, that includes : 2 standard grids (1) with sealing rings (2), 2 inlets (3) with bolts (4) for their assembling in hole of double dishwasher, such and one sleeve (7) at the end of Tbranch (8). MARKED SO, that includes first plastic pipe (6) pulled on smooth end pipe (3a) of the first inlet (3) and smooth end pipe (8b) of T branch, such and second plastic pipe (6) pulled on smooth ended pipe (8a) of Tbranch, so and short end pipe (7a) of the sleeve. At the ends of the pipes (6), joint nuts (5) are positioned. It includes last thread shaped end (8c) of Tbranch (8), with second inlet smooth pipe (3a) throwed in, and joint nut (5) and round sealing ring (9).
7. Elastic siphon connection, in accordance to claims 1 to 6, MARKED SO, that spiral shaped plastic pipe (6) is made of PVC, PP or PE, best if PVC.
Description:
ELASTIC SIPHON CONNECTION FOR WASHING-STANDS, SINGLE AND DOUBLE DISH-WASHERS Technical area in reference to innovation Inovation belongs to civil engineering area in general, i. e., water supplying area and drainage, closer, home installations for drinking water or waste water, and it is referred to elastic siphon connection for washing-stands, single and double dish-washers to drainage piping.

In accordance to International patent classification (IPC) it is marked: E 03C 1/14 and E 03C 1/18.

Technical problem Inovation makes solution in construction of elastic joints that are ensured against fast blocking, with effectively joint sealing of freely placed washing-stands, single and double dish-washers, i. e., theirs siphons to drainage piping.

Technical situation From non patent literature, there are solutions of rigid and elastic siphon connections known.

Rigid connections are made of few various elements, assembled with thread joints oftenly, and the sealing of these connections is ensured by setting of special sealing rings. When the siphon is to be cleaned, these connections have to be disassembled and in that case sealing rings are loosing their function very fast. Application of rigid connection is more difficult or even impossible in case when washing-stand, single or double dish-washer is not positioned properly to drainage piping hole. Then there is a need for using more connecting elements, which are the weakest point of this connecting system, and cleaning is more difficult.

Some of above mentioned defaults of rigid siphon connections such as: great number of joints, bad sealing, difficult connecting of unproperly positioned washing-stands, single or double dish-washers to drainage piping, are partially declined by introduction of elastic siphon connection. It is made by flowing technic of flexible connecting part. The result is getting flexible pipe with very accentuated concavity and convexity in shape of accordion in longitudinal section.

This geometry profile enables easy withholding of dirtiness in siphon connection, and during of siphon loop forming give very unregular shape. In this case cleaning is more difficult too. Assembling of flexible siphon pipe with its ends is performed as nonassembling joint which ensures full joint tightness, and it prevents substitution of particular siphon connecting elements.

The substance of invention Elastic siphon connection, in accordance to invention, is assembled of: inlet grid, sealing ring, inlet, bolt, joint nuts, flexible plastic coil and sleeve for washing- stands and single dish-washers, i. e., 2 inlet grids, 2 sealing rings, 2 inlets, 2 bolts, 2 flexible plastic coils, T branch and corresponding number of joint nuts for double dish-washers.

In accordance to invention, flexible plastic coil is made by spiral coiling of plastic profiled strip, whose shape ensures smooth inside of pipe wall. On the outer side of the pipe, spiral shape convexity with pitch"h"is formed, for winding of joint nuts. This way insures assembling of the other parts of elastic siphon with flexible plastic pipe. Spiral pitch"h"is so adjusted to ensure the most optimum flexibility and the smallest resistance of the pipe in forming of siphon loop and setting of siphon at the place of application. Smooth inside of pipe wall, ensures minimal withholding of dirtiness. With such construction of the pipe, cleaning is very easy.

You need only to take out sleeve of flexible pipe from the drainage, and wash out all the dirtiness by water stream to some accessory vessel.

In accordance to invention, joint between peripheral parts of elastic siphon connection, such as inlet, T-branch and fixing head to flexible plastic pipe, is made by joint nuts, so you can substitute all the components of the siphon and increase its applicability in service. Sealing of the joints is ensured by corresponding relation between pipe spiral pitch and nuts thread pitch, and relation between mid. diameter of pipe spiral and nut spiral.

Preferences of this invention related to known solutions are: Flexible plastic pipe is smooth inside, withholding of dirtiness is minimal, and cleaning is very easy Sealing of thread joints between peripheral parts of elastic siphon connection and flexible plastic pipe is made without additional sealing elements, but only with corresponding relation between thread elements of the flexible pipe and the nut.

Sealing is very simple and permanently.

Substitution of all elements of elastic siphon connection is very easy.

Fig. 1 shows elastic siphon connection which includes : standard grid 1 which is positioned into the hole of washing-stand and single dish-washer, sealing ring 2 which is positioned under the hole in assemble with inlet 3 and with bolt 4 tightened. Bolt 4 is screwed into nut 4a which is infused into inlet 3. This is the way to ensure sealing of this connecting part of elastic siphon.

Elastic siphon connection in Fig. 1, in basic fabrication, includes sleeve 7 at the other end, for positioning either in siphon hole or in drainage piping hole.

Between inlet 3 and sleeve 7, there is a flexible plastic pipe 6, which is on one side pulled on smooth end tube 3a of inlet, and smooth end tube 7a of the sleeve on the other side. Flexible plastic pipe 6, as the main constructing element of inovation, is made with smooth inside wall 6a by spiral coiling of plastic strip profile and with spiral convexities 6b. Cross section of spiral convexities 6b could be made like round, triangle or polygonal, with smooth outer surface 6c between.

Plastic profiled strip of the pipe 6 is made of plastic material, best if PVC. Beside the function of thread for joint nuts 5 winding, with their pitch"h"spiral convexities 6b must ensure optimal flexibility with minimal resistance during assembling at the place of application.

As it could be seen in Fig. 1, convexities 6b beside the pitch"h", have determined diameter of a screw Od as another one important constructing characteristic for making of joint nuts 5 in accordance to invention. These joint nuts 5, which are set at the ends of plastic pipe 6, are made with standard ribs 5a for adopting. Nuts 5, made of PP or PEHD plastic material, have an inner hole 5b with determined diameter, which is 1%-2% (best if 1,5%) bigger than outside diameter of smooth outer surface 6c of plastic pipe 6. Inside of the hole 5b of the nut 5 is made spiral groove 5c with the pitch"h1"and radius"R". Peaks of the groove 5c with their radiuses are placed on diameter OD of the inner hole 5b of the nut 5, which is ended with outlet 5d. Pitch"h1"of the spiral groove 5c is not equal to pitch"h"of spiral convexity 6b of the pipe 6, but it is smaller 1%-4% (best if 2,5%).

Beside the same connecting elements for washing-stand and single dish-washer, elastic siphon connection for double dish-washers (Fig. 2) includes also T-branch 8, on which smooth pipe's ends 8a and 8b, plastic pipes 6 with joint nuts 5 are fixed (same as in Fig. 1). In the same time, at the pipe end 8c, which is made on outer side like thread with the same characteristics like on pipe 6, on smooth ended pipe 3a of the inlet is pulled on. Connecting is made by using joint nut 5 and round sealing ring 9.

Elastic siphon connection of washing-stands, single and double dish-washers, works in the way that, joint nuts 5 (which are set at the ends of plastic pipes 6 which are before pulled on smooth parts of their pipes 3a, 7a, 8a and 8b) are winding with their threads 5c on spiral convexities 6b at the ends of plastic pipes 6. Because of difference in pitch"h"of the spiral coil of plastic pipes 6 and pitch"h1"of thread grooves 5c of the nuts 5, result is, wrinkling of elastic material of smooth inside walls 6a of the pipe 6 which are adhering to smooth surfaces of the pipe parts 3a, 7a, 8a and 8b. Joint sealing is very good and permanently.

Industrial and other application of invention Invention has a wide application in civil engineering in general, in area of water supplying and drainage, i. e. at the places where there is a need to drain waste water from washing-stands, single or double dish-washer, and from other collectors for waste liquids, and where need exists for making of water cork for preventing of drainage smell exhausting by any shape spiral loop forming.
