Abstract:
The present invention suppresses unnecessary waves. The present invention comprises: a support member having a cavity in one main surface thereof; a piezoelectric layer provided on the one main surface of the support member; and a functional electrode provided on at least one of the main surfaces of the piezoelectric layer so as to at least partially overlap with the cavity when viewed from a first direction which is the layering direction of the support member and the piezoelectric layer. The functional electrode comprises: a first busbar; a second busbar; and an IDT electrode having a plurality of first electrode fingers and a plurality of second electrode fingers. At least one electrode finger among the plurality of first electrode fingers and the plurality of second electrode fingers has a portion in which the width changes linearly along a second direction. In this at least one electrode finger, when the ratio of the width at a base end and the minimum width between the base end and the distal end is １＋σ：１－σ, σ is from 0.01 to 0.054.
