Abstract:
An elastic wave device (1) comprising: an element substrate (10) having piezoelectric properties; a functional electrode (21) provided upon a first main surface (10a) of the element substrate (10); lead-out wires (221a, 222a) electrically connected to the functional electrode (21) and provided so as to extend from the first main surface (10a) to a side surface (10c) of the element substrate (10); external terminals (51, 52) electrically connected to the lead-out wires (221a, 222a) and provided upon a second main surface (10b) of the element substrate (10); a first resin section (31) provided so as to seal the elastic wave device (1); and a second resin section (32) provided at least between the lead-out wires (221a, 222a) provided on the side surface (10c) and the first resin section (31). The second resin section (32) has a smaller Young's modulus than the first resin section (31).
