Abstract:
Provided is an elastic wave device in which higher order modes can be effectively suppressed. An elastic wave device 1 is provided with: a first piezoelectric substrate 4A comprising LiNbO3; a first bandpass filter 2A formed on the first piezoelectric substrate 4A, the first bandpass filter 2A having a plurality of first IDT electrodes; a dielectric layer provided on the first piezoelectric substrate 4A and covering the plurality of first IDT electrodes; a second piezoelectric substrate 4B; a second bandpass filter 2B formed on the second piezoelectric substrate 4B, the second bandpass filter 2B having a plurality of second IDT electrodes and having a passband different from that of the first bandpass filter 2A; and a band rejection filter 3 connected to the first bandpass filter 2A. The band rejection filter 3 is formed on a piezoelectric substrate other than the first piezoelectric substrate 4A.
