Abstract:
The present invention facilitates the adjustment of a fractional bandwidth. This elastic wave device comprises: a support substrate; a piezoelectric layer which has a first principal surface and contains lithium niobate or lithium tantalate; an energy confinement layer which is provided between the support substrate and the piezoelectric layer; and a first resonator and a second resonator which are formed on the first principal surface of the piezoelectric layer and include at least one pair of a first electrode and a second electrode, wherein the first resonator is configured to enable the use of bulk waves in a thickness sliding mode, and the second resonator is configured to enable the use of waves other than bulk waves in a thickness sliding mode.
