Abstract:
An elastic wave device according to the present disclosure is provided with: a piezoelectric layer; a support substrate that opposes the piezoelectric layer in a first direction; a resin body that is positioned between the piezoelectric layer and the support substrate, and contacts the piezoelectric layer and the support substrate; and, a functional electrode provided on at least one of a pair of main surfaces of the piezoelectric layer that are opposed in the first direction. In the first direction, the resin body is ring-shaped. A cavity is formed by the resin body, the piezoelectric layer, and the support substrate. The Young's modulus of the resin body is lower than that of the support substrate.
