Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to suppress a deterioration in frequency characteristics. This acoustic wave device comprises a support member having a thickness in a first direction, a piezoelectric layer provided on the support member in the first direction, and a functional electrode including one or more first electrode fingers which are provided on a main surface of the piezoelectric layer and which extend in a second direction intersecting the first direction, a first bus bar electrode to which the one or more first electrode fingers are connected, one or more second electrode fingers which oppose any one of the one or more first electrode fingers in a third direction perpendicular to the second direction, and which extend in the second direction, and a second bus bar electrode to which the one or more second electrode fingers are connected, wherein: the piezoelectric layer is a piezoelectric stacked structure including a first piezoelectric body in contact with the functional electrode, and a second piezoelectric body having a different dielectric polarization state from the first piezoelectric body; and a thickness of the first piezoelectric body is at most equal to a thickness of the second piezoelectric body.
