Abstract:
An elastic wave filter (10A): varies first filter characteristics having a first passband and a first attenuation band, and second filter characteristics having a second passband and a second attenuation band; and is provided with a parallel arm resonant circuit (12p). The parallel arm resonant circuit (12p) is provided with a parallel arm resonator (p1) and a frequency changing circuit (72p) that are connected to each other in parallel. The frequency changing circuit (72p) is provided with a parallel arm resonator (p2) having a higher resonant frequency than the parallel arm resonator (p1), and a switch (SW1) element. The difference between the resonant frequency on the high frequency side of the parallel arm resonant circuit (12p) when the switch (SW1) is OFF, and the resonant frequency on the high frequency side of the parallel arm resonant circuit (12p) when the switch (SW1) is ON is at least the difference between the low-end frequency of the second attenuation band and the low-end frequency of the first attenuation band.
