This elastic wave filter device (10) is provided with: a ground connection terminal (130) which is connected to an external ground electrode; a series arm resonator (s2); a first parallel arm circuit which is connected to the ground connection terminal (130) and a first node at an input/output terminal (110) side of the series arm resonator (s2); and a second parallel arm circuit which is connected to the ground connection terminal (130) and a second node at an input/output terminal (120) side of the series arm resonator (s2). The first parallel arm circuit is provided with: a parallel arm resonator (pH1) which has a higher resonance frequency than the centre frequency of a filter passband; and a frequency variable circuit (11) which is connected to the parallel arm resonator (pH1) and the ground connection terminal (130). The second parallel arm circuit is provided with a parallel arm resonator (pH2) having a higher resonance frequency than the centre frequency of the filter passband.
