Abstract:
An elastic wave filter which is less susceptible to breakdowns caused by ESD is provided. The distance between electrode fingers (22a2,22b2) or dummy electrodes (22a3,22b3) of a first IDT electrode (22), which are adjacent to one another, and an electrode finger (21a2) or a dummy electrode (21a3) of a fourth sinking comb-shaped electrode (21a) that is a floating electrode that is not connected to either an input terminal (12), output terminals (13a,13b) or a ground terminal, is longer than the distance between the electrode fingers (22a2,22b2) or the dummy electrodes (22a3,22b3) of the first IDT electrode (22), which are adjacent to one another, and an electrode finger (21b2) or a dummy electrode (21b3) of a third sinking comb-shaped electrode (21b) that is connected to the input terminal (12), the output terminals (13a,13b) or the ground terminal.
