Abstract:
Provided is an elastic wave resonator which enables size reduction and low loss.
An elastic wave resonator 1 has a configuration in which a plurality of divided resonators that are divided in series are provided on a piezoelectric substrate 2. The elastic wave resonator 1 is provided with first and second outer bus bars 7, 8, a first interstage bus bar 9, first to fourth electrode fingers 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, and first and second dummy electrode fingers 12, 13. On at least either of the sides of the first interstage bus bar 9 on which the second and third electrode fingers 3b, 4a are provided, no third dummy electrode finger is provided or a plurality of third dummy electrode fingers 14 having a length shorter than the length of the first and second dummy electrode fingers 12, 13 are provided. The third electrode fingers 4a are disposed on the extension of the second electrode fingers 3b. An electrode finger pitch in a portion where the first and second electrode fingers 3a, 3b are alternately interposed is equal to an electrode finger pitch in a portion where the third and fourth electrode fingers 4a, 4b are alternately interposed.
