Abstract:

Provided are an elastomer having continuous pores being composed of a thermoplastic elastomer and having a three-dimensional film structure, which is characterized in that it contains 20 to 100 pieces of pores having a maximum diameter of 40 μm or more in its cross section of 500μm× 500 μm, said pores are formed with a film, and 70 % or more of said pores have through holes having a maximum diameter of an opening of 1/20 of the maximum diameter of said pores or more and 20 μm or less in a number of three or more pieces per each pore, and which is excellent in liquid-absorbing property and in the property of spewing out the liquid it has absorbed; the above elastomer having continuous pores which is further excellent in chemical resistance, low elution property and the like; a liquid removing roller, a squeezing roller and a swab using the above elastomer having continuous pores; and a method for producing the above elastomer having continuous pores.
