Abstract:
Provided are: an elastomer member which is suitable for use in a machine tool; and a sealing member for machine tools, which uses this elastomer member.
This elastomer member is characterized by: being formed of a cured product of a thermosetting polyurethane composition; having a JIS-A hardness of 67° or more; and being used for a machine tool. This elastomer member is also characterized in that: the thermosetting polyurethane composition contains a polyol component, an isocyanate component and a crosslinking agent; and the polyol component is a polyethylene adipate ester polyol (PEA).
