Abstract:
This electric actuator is equipped with a drive unit 2, a motion converting mechanism 3 for converting rotary motion from the drive unit 2 to linear motion in an axial direction parallel to the output shaft of the drive unit 2, and a locking mechanism 7 for preventing driving of the motion converting mechanism 3. The locking mechanism 7 is provided with a rotary motor 64 and a locking member 60 which is driven by the rotary motor 64 to a locked state for preventing driving of the motion converting mechanism 3 and/or to a lock-releasing state for releasing the locked state.
