Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a rod (10) used as a rod-shaped member; an electroconductive polymer actuator (20) having an electroconductive polymer (22) that expands and contracts in a prescribed direction due to electric current; and an electromagnetic actuator (40) having a fixed magnetic pole part (42) in which the magnetic pole arrangement is fixed, and a variable magnetic pole part (44) in which the magnetic pole arrangement is changed by switching of electric current, the fixed magnetic pole part (42) and the variable magnetic pole part (44) moving relative to each other due to the magnetic pole arrangement of the variable magnetic pole part (44) being changed. The fixed magnetic pole part (42) or the variable magnetic pole part (44) is connected to the electroconductive polymer (22) so that the relative movement direction of the fixed magnetic pole part (42) and the variable magnetic pole part (44) matches the expansion-contraction direction of the electroconductive polymer (22), and the rod (10) is connected to the electroconductive polymer (22) and whichever of the fixed magnetic pole part (42) and the magnetic pole variable part (44) is connected to the electroconductive polymer (22).
