Abstract:
Provided is an electric anticorrosion system capable of achieving, at low cost and with high efficiency, improved anticorrosion properties in metal pipe material for seawater pumps and seawater desalination devices, etc. This electric anticorrosion system for suppressing corrosion of a metal pipe that carries water is characterized by comprising: an anode electrode for electric anticorrosion, sandwiched, so as to be covered except for part thereof, between two insulating gaskets interposed between a flange section connecting coupler sections in the pipe, said part thereof being exposed from the gaskets and configuring a water-contact surface that comes in contact with water inside the metal pipe; an anode electrode terminal having at least part thereof sandwiched between the gaskets; a DC power supply connected to the anode electrode and the pipe, via the terminal and electric wiring, and providing an anticorrosion current to the water-carrying section of the pipe; a first seal member that seals between the flange section and the gaskets; and a second seal member that seals between the gaskets and the terminal or between the anode electrode and the terminal.
