Abstract:
This electric automobile has a power control unit disposed within a motor room formed at the anterior portion of the vehicle; a charging opening or power supply opening is provided to the lateral surface of the anterior portion of the vehicle; a charging connector or power supply connector for connecting to a charging power source or an external device is attached to the charging opening or power supply opening; the charging connector or power supply connector is disposed in a manner so that the anterior end thereof is posterior to the anterior end of a front wheel, and the posterior end thereof is positioned anterior to a dash panel that partitions the motor room and a vehicle cabin; the power control unit and the charging connector or power supply connector are connected by a cable; and the section of connection between the cable and the power control unit is provided anterior to the charging connector or power supply connector.
