Abstract:
The fan casing of an electric blower (10) has: an air intake opening (440) formed in one of a pair of facing portions (44, 452) facing each other in the direction in which a rotation axis (CL) extends; and an insertion hole formed in the other of the pair of facing portions. A motor casing is configured to include: a motor holder section (51) which forms a containing space (510) which contains an electric motor; a cooling air passage section (52) which conducts a cooling air for the electric motor into the containing space; and a duct section (53) by which air flowing through an air passage is conducted into the cooling air passage section. The motor holder section and the fan casing are provided with a holder connection structure (61) for connecting the motor holder section to the fan casing while the motor holder section is inserted in the insertion hole. The duct section and the fan casing are provided with a duct connection structure (62) for connecting the duct section to the fan casing while the motor holder section is inserted in the insertion hole.
