Abstract:
Provided is an electric brake control system that makes it possible to effectively minimize periodic variation in the braking force of electric brake devices that are mounted to a plurality of the wheels of a vehicle without an accompanying increase in the output of the electric motor of each of the electric brake devices. When variation in the braking force of either of two electric brake devices (1) occurs, a control device (2): calculates an operation amount for each electric brake device (1) in accordance with the deviation between the command value of the sum total of the braking force of the electric braking devices (1) and the sum total of the feedback values of the braking force of each of the electric brake devices (1); and maintains the sum total of the braking force of each of the electric brake devices (1) in a constant manner while causing compensation operation that compensates for variation in braking force to be performed so that the amplitude of movement of each of the electric brake devices (1) is decreased and it is possible to effectively limit variation in braking force.
