Abstract:
This invention provides an electric brake device that makes it possible to minimize actuation noises without compromising the device's function as a brake. Said electric brake device is provided with a brake disk, brake pads, an electric motor (2), a linear-motion mechanism, and a control device (9). The control device (9) is provided with a motor-rotational-speed control unit (40) that controls the rotational speed of the electric motor (2), a derivative computation means (44) that computes the derivative of a brake command value, and a derivative-linked rotational-speed limitation means (41) whereby as the derivative computed by the derivative computation means (44) decreases, a rotational speed to which the electric motor (2) is limited by the motor-rotational-speed control unit (40) is reduced correspondingly.
