Abstract:
A change in a brake characteristic can be minimized even when the characteristic of a reactive force distribution member has changed. This electric brake device comprises: an input member to which is transmitted some of the reactive force from a master cylinder connected to a brake pedal; an assisting member that can reciprocate relative to the input member; an electric actuator that propels the assisting member through the movement of the input member; a reactive force distribution member that combines the thrust force of the input member and of the assisting member, transmits the combined thrust force to a piston of a master cylinder, and distributes reactive force from the piston to the input member and the assisting member; and a control device that detects the relative positions of the input member and the assisting member, and that drives and controls the electric actuator. The control device estimates the characteristic change in the elastic deformation of the material used in the reactive force distribution member and corrects the relative positions on the basis of the estimation result to control the electric actuator.
