Abstract:
Provided is an electric brake device capable of determining an abnormality in angle estimation inexpensively and at the time of brake operation or the like. A control device (2) of this electric brake device comprises: an angle estimation function unit (26) that estimates a motor angle; a reaction force estimation function unit (27) that estimates the reaction force of the pressing force of a friction material (9); and an angle estimation abnormality detection function unit (24) that determines the presence or absence of an abnormality of the angle estimation function unit (26). The angle estimation abnormality detection function unit (24) comprises: a data acquisition unit (29) that acquires an estimated angle and an estimated reaction force as data; a reaction force correlation derivation unit (28) that estimates a reaction force correlation in which the estimated angle and the estimated reaction force acquired by the data acquisition unit (29) are associated in accordance with a set condition; and an abnormality determination unit (31) that determines that the angle estimation function unit (26) is abnormal when the extent of the degree to which the reaction force correlation estimated by the reaction force correlation derivation unit (28) matches the data acquired by the data acquisition unit (29) falls below a set reference.
