Abstract:
Provided is an electric brake system which allows the amount of brake clearance to be adjusted without giving an odd feeling to a driver of an electric-brake-equipped vehicle. A control device (2) of this electric brake system (DB) is equipped with: a brake operation amount detection unit (24) for detecting an amount of operation performed on a brake operation means (27) of the vehicle; and an operation record flag storage means (19) for storing a record of the latest operation performed on the brake operation means (27) by the driver in the form of an operation record flag on the basis of the amount of operation detected by the brake operation amount detection unit (24). The control device (2) is further equipped with a target clearance determination unit (17) for determining a target clearance by reference to the operation record flag stored in the operation record flag storage means 19.
