Abstract:
This electric braking device 10 comprises a transmission mechanism that transmits the rotation of a motor shaft member 13 of an electric motor 12. The electric braking device 10 comprises an actuator part 20 that applies braking power to a wheel by pressing a friction material 22 against a rotating body 21. The actuator part 20 moves the friction material 22 in accordance with the rotation of the electric motor 12, the rotation having been transmitted by the transmission mechanism. The electric braking device 10 comprises a rotation stopping mechanism 50 that stops rotation toward a direction in which the braking power decreases, among the rotational directions of the electric motor 12. The electric braking device 10 comprises a motor bracket 81 that is a member to which the electric motor 12 is attached. The motor bracket 81 further has the rotation stopping mechanism 50 attached thereto.
