Abstract:
An electric car propulsion control device comprising a filter device and a power converter 6. The filter device is configured such that: a first inductance element L1, a second inductance element L, and a capacitor element C are connected in series and constitute a serial circuit; one end of the serial circuit is electrically connected to a low-potential-side power supply wiring connecting a rail and the power converter 6; the other end of the serial circuit is electrically connected to a high-potential-side power supply wiring connecting an overhead wire and the power converter 6; a third inductance element L2 and the first inductance element L1 are magnetically coupled, said third inductance element L2 being between the overhead wire and an electrical connection point for the other end of the serial circuit; and a mutual inductance M having a positive value and generated by the magnetic coupling occurs between the electrical connection point at one end of the serial circuit and the power converter 6.
