Abstract:
Provided is an electric circuit breaker device capable of disconnecting a conducting piece with a small output. The electric circuit breaker device is such that: an igniter, a rod-shaped piston, and a conducting piece for forming one part of an electric circuit are disposed, in that order, in a cylindrical space formed from a first end side of a housing towards a second end side opposite to the first end side in the housing axial direction. An insulating closed space is provided between the second end of the housing and the conducting piece. The conducting piece is a plate-shaped piece comprising a first connection portion and a second connection portion located at both ends of the piece, and a disconnection middle portion located in the intermediate part, the face of the disconnection portion being disposed in the width direction of the housing. The cross-section of the front end of the rod-shaped piston in the housing width direction has a square shape and is placed on the face of the disconnection portion of the conducting piece in the housing axial direction. The cross-section of the insulating closed space in the housing width direction has a square shape and comprises: an opening part facing the conducting piece, a blocking end face opposed to the opening part in the housing axial direction, and 4 side faces between the opening part and the blocking end face. The width (W1) of the opening part of the insulating closed space and the width (L1) of the front end of the rod-shaped piston are such that: W1 > L1, and W1 - L1 ≥ 0.25mm.
