Abstract:
Provided is an electric cleaner (11) that has achieved a small size and is capable of accurate travel control. The electric cleaner (11) comprises: a body case configured to travel; a travel/sensor-system CPU (61) which controls the travel of the body case; a plurality of cameras (51) mounted on the body case; and an image processing processor (63) which includes the functions of an image input means, an image processing means, an own-position estimation means, and a map creation means. The image processing processor (63) captures image data from at least two of a plurality of cameras (51). The image processing processor (63) subjects the captured image data to image processing. The image processing processor (63) estimates an own position on the basis of the image data that has been subjected to image processing. The image processing processor (63), on the basis of the image data that has been subjected to image processing, creates a map of a travel region in which the body case travels.
