Abstract:
An electric compressor for a vehicle is provided with: a motor (560) having a coil; an inverter device (550) of the motor (560); a capacitor (520) connected to an input port of the inverter device (550), for storing a smaller amount of energy than that of the coil and storing a charge in response to the operation of the motor (560); a detector (530) for detecting a voltage of the capacitor (520); abnormality determining units (570, 576, 577) for determining whether there is an abnormality on the basis of the voltage of the capacitor; and a control device (570) for, in case of an abnormality, controlling the inverter device (550) to execute a reflux mode in which current flows back to the coil of the motor (560).
