Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the technical field of electric compressors for vehicles, and addresses the problem of making it possible to perform a hermeticity inspection while suppressing an increase in the number of components and operation steps and improving quality. As a means of overcoming this problem, the present invention has a configuration in which a communicating passage (23) providing communication between the inside and the outside of an inverter accommodating portion (12) is formed in a compressor-side connector (14) in order for a hermeticity inspection of the inverter accommodating portion (12) to be performed, and the communicating passage (23) is sealed when a vehicle-side connector (32) is inserted.
