Abstract:
[Problem] To secure a holding force of a stator while maintaining the durability of a component that is involved in shrink fitting, such as a casing, in an electric compressor in which a stator is fixed inside a casing through shrink fitting. [Solution] Three protrusions (41f) that protrude toward the inside in a radial direction are provided so as to be spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction along a peripheral wall of a first casing (41), a groove (41f2) that extends in an axial direction is disposed in a central portion of each protrusion (41f) in the circumferential direction and a contact portion between a protrusion end surface (41f1) of each protrusion (41f) and an outer peripheral surface of a stator (3) is fixed in place by shrink fitting.
