Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electric compressor comprising: a casing; a compression mechanism which compresses a refrigereant in the casing; a motor providing the compression mechanism with a driving power; and an inverter controlling the motor, wherein the casing comprises an inverter cover for sealing the inverter against the outside, the inverter cover comprises a plate, and the plate comprises a first plate portion and a second plate portion extending from the first plate portion and protruding toward inside in which the inverter is embedded, and thus, an increase in the rigidity of the inverter cover, reduction in vibration and noise, and restraining of the weight increase can be simultaneously achieved.
