Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electric compressor comprising: a motor which generates power; a compression mechanism which receives power transmitted from the motor to compress a refrigerant; and an inverter which controls the motor, wherein: a housing accommodating the motor and the inverter therein includes a partition wall for dividing the housing into a motor accommodation space in which the motor is accommodated and an inverter accommodation space in which the inverter is accommodated, and an inlet port for guiding the refrigerant to the motor accommodation space; and the partition wall includes a rib protruding from the surface opposite to the motor accommodation space. Accordingly, a plurality of elements of the inverter can be sufficiently cooled as a whole and temperature deviations between the plurality of elements can be suppressed, so that burnouts, malfunctions, and maintenance cost increases can be suppressed.
