An electric connection device (60) for electrically and mechanically connecting a display section drive substrate (50) provided in a mobile telephone device (10) to a main substrate (51). The electric connection device (60) includes a first connector (70) electrically connected to the display section drive substrate (50) and a second connector (73) electrically connected to the main substrate (51). The second connector (73) has a plate-shaped connector insertion portion (83) having a plurality of conductive portions each inserted into a connection portion (81) of the first connector (70) so as to be electrically connected, an engagement hole (140) formed as a unitary block with the connector insertion portion (83) for engaging a housing (80), and a plate-shaped fixing unit (85) for fixing the connector insertion portion (83) to the housing (80) so that the housing (80) is engaged in the engagement hole (80) and the connector insertion portion (83) is not removed from the connection portion (81).
