An electric connector box (1) comprises a unit housing (11) for holding an electric part package unit (21) to be selectively mounted according to the specifications thereof, and a dummy connector housing (12) disposed adjacent thereto. When the unit is not mounted, the unit-connecting connector (22) of a wiring harness is allowed to be fitted to the dummy connector housing, while when the unit has been mounted, the free end of a flexible piece (17) integrally installed on a partition wall disposed at a position adjacent the two housings (11, 12) is displaced into the dummy connector housing by the unit (21) to prevent the wiring harness connector (22) from being fitted to the dummy connector housing, and the connector (22) becomes connectible to the connector of the unit (21). Thereby, erroneous connection of the wiring harness connector is prevented when an unfixed and shared harness is used.
