Abstract:
[Problem] To be able to stably ensure retention strength by a retainer relative to a connector housing. [Solution] An electric connector 5 is provided with: a plurality of metal terminals 31; a housing 33 which has a plurality of terminal accommodation chambers 47 and a retainer insertion opening 51 which extends in a left-right direction orthogonal to a front-back direction corresponding to the direction of insertion of the metal terminals 31; and a retainer 35 which retains the plurality of metal terminals 31 inserted into the plurality of terminal accommodation chambers 47. The plurality of terminal accommodation chambers 47 constitute first and second terminal accommodation chamber groups 101, 102. The housing 33 has a separating wall 48 disposed between the first and second terminal accommodation chamber groups 101, 102. A retainer opening 52 is formed in the separating wall 48, and an engagement section 55 which engages an engaged section 57 of the retainer is formed in the retainer opening.
