Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electric contact having a stable electrical resistance value. An insertion rod passing through a coil spring is provided on a first contact member, while a cylindrical part into which a portion of the insertion rod passing through the coil spring is inserted, is provided on a second contact member. An inclination mechanism inclines the second contact member to allow the insertion rod to come in contact with the cylindrical part. Thus, the electric resistance value can be stabilized. A reduced diameter part having the diameter further reduced with distance from the cylindrical part is formed at least at a portion near the tip end of the insertion rod. Thereby, a change in contact pressure between the cylindrical part and the insertion rod is suppressed to allow for a smooth expansion and contraction action.
