Abstract:
By comparing the output of a first magnetic sensor 1 having a low sensitivity and the output of a second magnetic sensor 2 having a high sensitivity, a determination is made as to whether a measured electric current I is greater than a maximum value at which a magnetic field can be measured in the second magnetic sensor 2. When the measured electric current I is less than the maximum value, the output of the second magnetic sensor 2 is selected in a selection unit 4, and when the measured electric current I exceeds the maximum value, the output of the first magnetic sensor 1 is selected in the selection unit 4.
